About

Clay has been part of my life for many years. First, as a kid making primitive unfired pinch pots from the local clays around Auckland, New Zealand, followed by over 30 years getting dirty with clay in my career as a geologist in southern California. It's only in the last few years that I've finally realized my dream of working with clay to create art. I am currently based in Fort Myers, Florida where I work in my studio with four feline assistants.

I draw inspiration for my art and designs from the the natural environment, my New Zealand heritage, and the many oddities of humanity and history. I enjoy handcrafting art for everyday enjoyment; there's something very special about incorporating unique handmade items into our everyday routines. I hope you find my designs humorous, calming, charming or useful.

I'd love to hear from you! Send me a message to ask questions, provide feedback or just to chat. Photos of you, and how you are using my art, always brighten my day.

Thank you so much for supporting this small business!

Be kind, always.
Wendy
